Now that I have your attention...

There's no use denying that you know that the Elementalist chick's underwear is a pastel pink with a little extra lace. A slightly smaller number of you may know that the Mesmer's intimates are purple with gold highlights. What do the other ladies get? Well, you know.

I personally think that the other females should get a lingerie set that fits their class. I know that the chances of another midnight dance party happening are slim, but I would like some serious suggestions. I'd prefer them be from actual women, although men with actual experience [like husbands] could also contribute.

I would suggest the same for males, but I honestly don't know how would consider matching our underwear to personalities. Sure, we could give jock straps to the Warrior machos, but I would hate to run around the map with that...

I really do not think that would be a good idea since children play this game as well as adults. Besides the underwear is skimpy enough without being obscene. And there is armor out there that kinda looks like lingere already. I say keep it as is. There is no point in changing the looks of underwear.

I think all the male's boxers should have funny designs on them. Just go into any store and you'll see boxers with hearts or smiley faces on them. These should be a part of Guild Wars.

Dying your undies would be a nice touch as well.

Hmm....Being able to dye underwear, that might be a neat feature... but for crying out loud, if you want to dress your character so much to the point that you want different underwear choices... then go buy a BARBIE DOLL

It's the little things in life that counts ;3

I for one, don't have anything against the developers adding visible undergarments seeing as every developer does. The reason they do is not because it turns 'em on in any way, no no, the reason is alot simpler. Behind any game house you'll find the people with the whips and the money. These are the ones that choose what and what not is going in the game, and their descisions are based solely on one thing, money; how can we get more of it? The obvious reason is to get more players, and we all know that there's a ..few.. "horny"(interpret freely) guys out there. So what better way than adding Panties and dance emotes could there be? None.

Adding such "content" also helps release tention in the game(interpret freely) and allow for emotions and more immersion.. (I can't believe i'm actually saying this x_o;; )

By adding such detail to guild wars, we might be lucky if we'll be able to get such a loyal fanbase that we'll be seeing these types of commitmets towards the community and the game itself.

I bring you the commitment and loyalty that Blizzard can be proud of, in NotJustAnotherLoveStory
http://www.fileplanet.com/files/150000/152462.shtml

This type of commitment and love for a game is something that i hope, we, the guild wars community, will be around to see and experience.

HAHAHAHA... good one! "the heroes offspring :P hahaha

Yeah, it's truely a marketing thing. And for those choice few who buy the game for 'ahem' the looks

just a suggestion - Ranger boxers should have rubber duckies on them yeah! and necro's should have soemthing oddly disturbing (yes as apposed to something disturbing that is not odd ) something like... care bears lol, I told ya it should be disturbing, especially under all the dark armor!!!

PS I'm happy with the female ranger's dance *cough* slutty *cough*

Suggestions for Male Panties
Ranger - I love the rubber ducky-print idea. It'd look good on a blue or green background.
Mesmer - Maybe they can go gold on purple like their female counterparts. But for them, make it boxer briefs. That, or make them constantly change color.
Necro - I can see black boxer shorts with a Punisher print. That, or the Anarchy symbol in white on one of his buttcheeks.
Warrior - Plain whitey-tights suit them. What else screams "MACHO!" better than that?

Any suggestions for the other two?

Well I will disagree on this . The decorative part possibably , but if it was about money an only that the undies would not even be there . But for the sake of calling it a game that anyone can play the undies are required .

Ohh an to prove my point , a certain female char in AO can use the moon emote wearing a specific outfit an well lets just say if a guy behind her is watching close he will get a eyefull . Mistake or guy grabber ?

Err.... thought this game had a "T" rating? If "children" are playing then maybe their parents need to get off the couch and do some parenting instead. If it'll sell some more copies and amuse the masses (i.e., it'll entertain), I say go to town.
And before I attract a bunch of flames, I actually *do* parent my two kids.

Default A solution

I don't think this is an issue very important in and of itself, but some of the comments I have seen really annoy me.

This is a game where you kill things. Kill lots of things. Kill human things. Kill animal things. Kill monster things. And the development of most character professions involves learning how to more kill things better, faster, and more efficiently.

There is certainly no lack of visual violence.

But mention sexy undies and every fundamentalist lunatic shouts "Oh no! Think of the children!" It might damage them to see a human body---well, unless it is being beheaded.

It is the same way with tv. I love the series 24 and don't think it should changed (I don't advocate censoring violence either), but I am agast that nobody complains about the multiple scenes of graphic torture that occure several times in every seasons so far, and yet there are congressional hearings over a single exposed breast on tv.

BTW: The science shows this is wrongheaded. Violent media has been shown to increase violence (marginally). But non-violent sexual imagery has been shown to DECREASE sexual crimes. So which is healthier to see?

Even more crazy is the censorship of words---as if one set of sounds that mean a thing can somehow be evil while another set of sounds that means the same thing is just fine. It is so bad here that even newspapers censor words that are present in in ACTUAL QUOTES that they are reporting. But I don't want to drag this post any furhter along a tangent. Except to say that I'd like to see someone sue a paper for misquoting them by objecting that, "I difn't say F dash dash K. I said..." Well, I can't say it because this message would probably be deleted if I did.

Suffice it to say that, in this area, and I am sad to say it, we americans have it backastwards. We couldn't be more wrong.

---

As for a solution to having this sort of content game, simply allow players who are over 18 to get another activation code for no cost by verifying that they are 18 with a credit card. Only people with this activation code would then be able to view any "adult" content. Well, except for the gore---everybody would still view that.

Because we wouldn't want a child to be psychologically scarred for life by seeing a breast, such as the one her or she suckled on for the first few years of life, especially when they could be viewing much more healthy images like images of people being impaled on pikes.

Being able to choose different undies would be cool but they should remain tasteful. The goofy boxers is a great idea!
